An online marketplace for activities and experiences making it easy for travel companies to sell tours and activities. It is an online service that enables users to research, find, and book travel experiences. The marketplace is made available through the web properties of trusted travel brands around the world.
When Activiter was founded in 2015, they had the idea to create an online service that could enable users to research, find and book travel experiences. However, being in the leisure, travel, and tourism industry presented some challenges. Their goal was to streamline touchpoints between activity providers and activity seekers.
In developing this project, Virtual Force became Activiter’s technology partner. Using the latest JavaScript environments and framework, we integrated real-time bookings for Activiter’s B2B clientele. This efficient tech solution enables quick communication, allowing activity providers to engage more customers, thus increasing their revenue stream.
The features VF enabled include; pre-arrival bookings, automated reservations, data analytics, and more. By providing seamless integration and implementation for travel brands, Activiter became the one-stop-shop for activity seekers. To date, Activiter has received $400k funding.

Since its launch, Activiter has narrowed its focus and is now a service that enables travel brands with a tee-time service for their golfing guests. Because golfers account for 20% of travelers, this is an extremely bustling and booming industry.
Activiter recognized a broken system of scheduling tee-time. Their solution was to create a managed tee-time service. Activiter grants access to a network of courses statewide and provide an online point of sale with real-time confirmation and a managed marketplace that requires no administration overhead.
The benefits for a golfer of choosing a managed service such as Activiter include a profitable revenue stream, secure online POS, and access to an entire network. Benefits for golf courses consist of full rate control, expanded booking window, simplified accounting, and an automated reservation process. Virtual Force is proud to have had a hand in developing Activiter’s service platform.
